RF Online Talic Upgrade Simulator

Upgrade any weapon or armor without losing a single Talic. The simulator rolls each attempt with the same formula and tables as the RF Online 2.2.3.2 server: item grade, current level, item level and every jewel in the window all count.

How RF Online upgrade chances work

Every attempt uses one Talic and every jewel in the window. The server starts from a base value for the item's grade and its current upgrade level, then scales it by the jewels: each of the four jewel slots adds its jewel's rate, and an empty slot still adds 0.125. Four empty slots give a total of 0.5, four T3 jewels (×1 each) give 4. The base is multiplied by that total divided by 4.

Item level matters too. The chance is multiplied by 30 divided by the item's level, so a level 30 item uses the plain value, a level 60 item gets half and a level 15 item gets double (capped at 100%).

When an attempt fails, the server rolls twice more: first whether the item is destroyed, then whether every Talic is stripped back to +0. If neither happens, you only lose the Talic and the jewels. Both chances grow with the upgrade level, and in the original server code the step from +6 to +7 has a base value of 0, so it can never succeed.

These numbers come from the unmodified 2.2.3.2 server. Many private servers change upgrade rates, so check your server's patch notes, or compare servers in the RF Online 2.2.3.2 private server list. For what each Talic does, see the RF Online Talic guide.

Success chance by item grade and level

For a level 30 item. The first number uses no jewels, the second four T6 jewels such as Shiny Ruby of Luck (×3 each).
