RF Online Fresh Wipe Checklist: How to Prepare for a Server Launch
Everything to sort out before an RF Online private server opens or wipes: client, account, race, guild and the first hours, so you start ahead of the crowd.

1. Pick the launch you'll commit to
Fresh wipes reward the players who are there on day one: early guilds take the first Chip Wars and set prices on the market. Use the RF Online server launch calendar to see upcoming grand openings, wipes and betas, then compare version, level cap and rates.
If you're unsure about rates, read RF Online server rates explained and how to choose an RF Online private server.
2. Before launch day
Join the server's Discord and read the rules, the cash shop list and the launch announcement. Note the opening time in your own time zone.
Register your account early if the server allows it, and download and patch the client a day ahead: launch-hour downloads are slow and patch servers get busy. Only download the client from the link on the server's official website or Discord, never from a link someone sends you.
Agree on a race and guild with your friends before the doors open. On a fresh server, race balance decides Chip War, so check which race the server is short of; some servers give bonuses for the smaller race.
3. The first hours
Follow the main quest line from your race's headquarters: it gives steady experience and your first gear. Keep your PT (skill mastery) rising with your level, because it is much harder to catch up later.
Sell spare materials early while prices are high, and keep the ores and materials you'll need for your own gear. The crafting guide shows which ones are used most.
4. If you miss the launch
Look at recently opened servers on the calendar: a server a few weeks old still has a levelling population. Or browse new and upcoming RF Online servers for the next wipe.
